Reston, VA | March 26, 2026 – This week, a group of Brillient employees swapped their desks for aprons to volunteer with SevaTruck Foundation, preparing and delivering more than 250 nutritious meals to students at Braddock Elementary School in the Washington, D.C. metro area.
The experience was a vivid reminder of what community responsibility looks like in practice, and a reflection of the values our Brillient team brings to everything we do.
“It was incredible to see everyone come together with a shared purpose, supporting local kids in a simple but powerful way. Volunteering to serve food at the school was a reminder of how small acts can make a big difference,” shared Alex Frith.
That spirit of collective purpose ran through every aspect of the day.
“It was a rewarding experience on so many levels. We prepared more than 250 meals for the students. I enjoyed learning about the work Braddock Elementary School is doing to help students overcome challenges,” Bret Denning added.
SevaTruck Foundation’s mission centers on bringing food, stability, and academic support to Title I school students across Fairfax County and Montgomery County Public Schools, helping to break the cycle of poverty, one meal at a time. Braddock Elementary is one of several partner schools in SevaTruck’s growing network.
“It was truly a great experience. I felt honored to be a part of such a ‘Brillient’ way to give back to the community,” said Nile Alexander.
“Their team jumped right in,” SevaTruck shared after the event. “Corporate teams bring not just extra hands, but energy and care that truly make a difference.”
