Reston, VA | September 10, 2024 – On Thursday, September 5, Brillient Corporation hosted a Veteran’s Health Administration (VHA) networking event that offered candidates the opportunity to meet with future colleagues and current Brillient staff. The three-hour event was held in the Commonwealth Room of Hyatt Regency Tyson’s Corner, in McLean, Virginia. Brillient provided food and beverages, and presented a slideshow that highlighted company capabilities, while attendees were invited to ask questions regarding the company and culture.

Steven Dugan, Brillient Senior Director of Talent Acquisition and Human Resources, kicked off the keynote speakers of the evening by expressing a warm welcome to attendees. The next speaker was Brillient Founder and CEO, Sukumar Iyer, who summarized Brillient’s history and health-related footprint, then spoke about company capabilities for artificial intelligence and digitization. Tammy McChain, Brillient Chief Delivery Officer, thanked everyone for attending and delivered closing remarks.

Following the keynote speakers, attendees were invited to mix and mingle with members of the Brillient Team and other guests.

Brillient Talent Acquisition staff spoke to an estimated 30 candidates who attended the event and received positive feedback from several about the opportunity to come and meet with Brillient and future colleagues and learn more about their potential employer. The two most asked questions they received concerned the hiring and on-boarding timeframe, and what the clearance process would entail.

According to attendees, the highlight of the event was hearing directly from Brillient’s CEO about the company’s continued mission to deliver IT solutions to our government customers, particularly the Department of Veterans Affairs and VHA.
