Project Description

Objective:

The United States Coast Guard (USCG) was seeking acquisition lifecycle and analytical support for the Surface Forces Logistics Centers (SFLC), which provides surface fleet and other assigned assets with depot level maintenance, engineering, supply, logistics and information services. Brillient was awarded a task order as a part of the DHS TABSS contract to provide operational and program support for SFLC logistics programs.

Solution:

Brillient partnered with USCG supporting operations at three different SFLCs in Baltimore, Norfolk and Oakland. Our data analysts provide data analytics and acquisitions lifecycle support for a multitude of supply items that enable the functioning of the USCG surface fleet.

Results:

Our work with the SFLCs has helped the USCG to secure and supply their surface fleet. The Brillient team has helped USCG with:

  • Improving operational efficiencies by streamlining vendor communications and business processes
  • Accelerated execution of acquisitions needed by the surface fleet
  • Seamless interfacing with the USCG finance center (FINCEN) on procurement actions and financials
  • Development of compliant documentation following USCG standards
