Brillient CEO Appointed Co-chair of AFCEA International, Small Business Committee

Brillient’s CEO, Sukumar Iyer, has been appointed as co-chair of the AFCEA International Small Business Committee (SBC). In this position, Mr. Iyer will support and expand AFCEA’s initiatives by helping small businesses grow in the federal market and developing value-added programs for the organization’s nearly 20,000 members.

“I am honored to be appointed by AFCEA President, Lt. Gen. Shea, and AFCEA Vice President, Tina Jordan, to serve as co-chair of the AFCEA Small Business Committee,” said Sukumar Iyer, CEO of Brillient. “I look forward continuing to be a voice for small businesses and developing programs that help them thrive and grow in the federal government arena.”

“Having worked with Sukumar for several years both inside and outside of AFCEA, I know he possesses deep knowledge of the government small business contracting ecosystem,” said Chris Cusano, outgoing AFCEA SBC Co-chair and Executive Vice President of NT Concepts. “His insights from starting and growing Brillient will be incredibly valuable to the AFCEA small business community, and his prior large business experience rounds out the perspective he brings to the role. AFCEA has made a top choice in selecting Sukumar.”
